Frequently Asked Question!

The North American Track&Field League  (NATFL) is a professional track and field league focused on disciplined athlete development, performance accountability, and team-based competition. NATFL is designed to prepare athletes for consistant, high-level competition while advancing the future of professional track and field.

NATFL is open to serious, aspiring, and professional track and field athletes who demonstrate competitive readiness, and commitment to league standards. Eligibility is determined through application review, draft declaration, and performance evaluation. Participation is selective and not guaranteed.

Unlike federations or meet-only circuits, NATFL operates as a development-first professional league. Athletes are evaluated on readiness, consistency, and professionalism-not just one-time results. NATFL emphasizes structured training standards, performance-based advancement, and team identity.

Athletes must formally declare for the NATFL Draft and meet eligibility standards. Applications and declarations are reviewed based on performance history, training consistency, event needs, and readiness to compete professionally. Draft eligibility does not guarantee selection, roster placement, or contracts.

NATFL athletes are expected to train consistently, follow structured development plans, maintain competitive readiness, and uphold professional conduct. Training compliance with a NATFL-approved coach, performance tracking, and accountability are central to athlete advancement and competition eligibility.

Yes. NATFL supports development through structured training pathwaysm performance evaluation, and progressive competition opportunities. While not all applicants are draft-ready, athletes showing potential may be guided toward future eligibility through development phases.
